A Full and Comprehensive set of Project Management Plans and Procedures

Delivering projects  within objectives  is primarily the task and responsibility of the Project Management role within a project. This is definitively the case for large, complex and multi-disciplinary projects. Project Management can only executed properly by skilled and trained people with the right set of tools and procedures at their disposal.

Bearing this in mind BV-Specialisten has developed a Project Based Management System (PBMS) that can be used throughout the complete lifecycle of any system. From project start-up and the initial feasibility studies throughout the final maintenance and decommissioning of projects and installations.

The PBMS is complete system for the design of the project organization and project management of large and complex multidisciplinary projects, the system makes possible to manage all interdisciplinary aspects of a project. The PBMS should be an integral part of the Corporate Management System (hereinafter referred to as CMS).

The PBMS is constructed around the integration of multiple management methods and standards:

• IPMA - International Competence Baseline (ICB versie 3) Project Management;
• Prince2-2005: Managing Successful Projects
• NEN-ISO_IEC_26702_2007_en: Systems engineering - Application and management of the systems engineering process (ISO/IEC 26702:2007,IDT);
• NEN-ISO_IEC 15288_2008_en: Systems and software engineering – Software life cycle processes (ISO/IEC 15288:2008,IDT);
• CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration - Development);
• Integrated Multilevel Control (System Development Control).

The integration of management methods and standards is named and registered under the trade name System Lifecycle Management Chain (hereinafter called SLM-CHAIN^®).
